What to do in the Laurentians 

The Laurentians region has a wealth of tourist offerings with many attractions and activities. There is truly something for everyone! There are many family activities, including the Village du Père Noël, water slides, and beaches, among others. Other attractions are oriented around recharging and relaxation, such as Nordic spas, lake cruises, and hiking. For winter, we have a bunch of suggestions to enjoy the beautiful snow season. Every season brings its share of happiness.

Lower Laurentians & Argenteuil

Saint-André-d'Argenteuil

This is the most powerful power station on the Ottawa River. The single lock through the dam allows pleasure craft to rise 19 metres in a single step.

MRC d'Argenteuil

This circuit takes you through picturesque villages, lovely agricultural scenery, winding rivers and unique panoramic views!

Saint-André-d'Argenteuil

With the biggest drop of any lock in Canada, the Carillon Canal offers a spectacular view. Equipped with a 200-ton vertical lift door, the lock allows boats to negotiate the 20-meter descent.

MRC des Laurentides

The Covered Bridge is an intermediate circuit that starts at Parc du Voyageur. This 67.5-km trail is completely paved.

Mont-Blanc

Just off Route 117, opposite to the Mont Blanc ski station, in a century-old presbytery.

MRC des Pays-d'en-Haut

This intermediate circuit, 38 km long, allows you to discover the beauty of the landscapes and the charm of the villages located in the Pays-d'en-Haut MRC.
