This is the most powerful power station on the Ottawa River. The single lock through the dam allows pleasure craft to rise 19 metres in a single step. Before you tour the interior of the installation, you can explore the exhibit in the entrance hall covering the power station, its historical site, the stages in its construction and its particular features. The power station is bordered by a park with two picnic areas. Free admission. Visit lasts 90 minutes. Reservations mandatory. For safety reasons, tours are not recommended for children younger than two.
