What to do in the Laurentians
The Laurentians region has a wealth of tourist offerings with many attractions and activities. There is truly something for everyone! There are many family activities, including the Village du Père Noël, water slides, and beaches, among others. Other attractions are oriented around recharging and relaxation, such as Nordic spas, lake cruises, and hiking. For winter, we have a bunch of suggestions to enjoy the beautiful snow season. Gathering of artists and artisans of the Laurentians' South-West
Route des Arts presenst, every summer, the works from local artists.

LE RELAIS BORÉALE
With the biggest drop of any lock in Canada, the Carillon Canal offers a spectacular view. Equipped with a 200-ton vertical lift door, the lock allows boats to negotiate the 20-meter descent.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This is the most powerful power station on the Ottawa River. The single lock through the dam allows pleasure craft to rise 19 metres in a single step.
