L'Ancienne-Pisciculture

The Ancienne-Pisciculture site is a unique ecotourism destination in Quebec for families and nature lovers.

Built in 1933, the Ancienne-Pisciculture has been completely restored and offers a multitude of activities throughout the year! Access is free and accessible to all. Discover the history of the site thanks to its audioguide offered in five languages; visit the museum space at the Maison du Pisciculteur; stroll through the landscaped gardens full of wild and edible flowers; browse the hiking and snowshoeing trails. Picnic tables, play modules for children, everything is done to welcome you for a day!

Do not miss the Sentier des cimes Laurentides with its panoramic tower rising 40 meters high for a breathtaking 360 degree view! Enjoy dinner on the magnificent terrace of the restaurant Chez Émile, have a snack at Café Boréal and visit the Gourmet Sauvage boutique. Accessible by the P'tit Train du Nord, by bike or on foot; in winter cross-country skiing or fatbike.
