Exhibition 1: DEVANT LA TABLE: Le repas social comme expérience d'exclusion
Artist: Céline Landry
Known for her metaphorical exploration of the concepts of intimacy, body and femininity through her artistic work, Céline Landry presents a new installation entitled «DEVANT LA TABLE - Le repas social comme expérience d'exclusion». This work explores the unknown reality of the meal: exclusion. She confronts the spectators with a disturbing representation of an abundance of food contrasted by the malaise of a female figure. The artist invites the public to reflect on the prejudices and social realities often ignored during shared meal times.
Exhibition 2: En attendant le printemps!
Artist: Marilyse Goulet
Marilyse Goulet is known for her metaphorical exploration of plant curiosities through her artistic work, she presents her new installation entitled «Micro-Macro: impressions phytologiques». Stemming from a research-creation grant from the CALQ, this project explores the subtleties of nature through observation, harvesting and the engraved gesture of native plants. This poetic installation transports viewers into a fascinating plant world, confronting them with the beauty and complexity of the surrounding ecosystem. By inviting the public to reflect on the links between man and nature, the artist celebrates the richness and diversity of our environment.
